Penn Station resembled a “Thriller” Flash Mob in action, Lincoln Tunnel traffic was at a horrific standstill. Inevitably, Lincoln and Holland tunnels closed post quake.
Cellular networks were congested after the earthquake but that didn’t stop the social media buzz. One Lincoln tunnel passenger tweeted, “Been through the Lincoln Tunnel hundreds of time, never been nervous about it until just now, and never been happier to see Jersey. #whew.”
